Evil Energy truck lift kits are designed for specific truck and SUV suspension applications rather than universal fitment. Options in this collection include front strut spacers for reducing factory rake and front and rear combinations for a more complete ride height adjustment. Before ordering, match the product to the exact year, make, model, drivetrain and factory suspension configuration. A similar body style or model name does not guarantee that the mounting points and suspension geometry are the same.

These vehicle specific leveling lift kits use CNC machined forged 6061 T6 aluminum components with the mounting hardware listed on each product page. Choose the lift position before choosing the height. A front only spacer changes front stance, while a front and rear kit changes both ends of the vehicle. If you are comparing traditional rear lift blocks, confirm that the selected product explicitly contains rear suspension components because a front strut spacer cannot raise the rear axle.

Front Leveling Kit or Front and Rear Suspension Lift?

Choose a front leveling lift kit when the goal is to reduce the factory nose down stance or create additional front tire clearance. Choose a front and rear combination when both ends need a planned height change. Because suspension geometry affects the final result, spacer thickness and advertised lift height are not always equal. Measure the current front and rear fender heights on level ground before deciding how much correction the truck needs.

Lift height alone does not guarantee that a larger tire will clear. Check tire diameter and width together with wheel width, offset, backspacing and clearance at full steering lock and suspension compression. After installation, verify all mounting hardware, inspect brake line and sensor wire clearance, and have the wheel alignment checked. A suspension lift changes stance and clearance but does not increase the vehicle manufacturer’s payload or towing ratings. If the new wheel setup also requires additional inner clearance, compare vehicle specific truck wheel spacers by bolt pattern, hub bore and thickness.

What is the difference between rear lift blocks, front strut spacers and complete truck lift kits and suspension upgrades?

Rear lift blocks are normally installed at the rear leaf spring axle assembly to raise the rear of a compatible truck. Front strut spacers mount at the front suspension and are commonly used for front ride height adjustment or reducing factory rake. A front and rear leveling kit contains components for both ends of the vehicle.

These parts are not interchangeable. A front strut spacer cannot raise the rear axle, and a rear leaf spring block cannot be installed on a rear coil spring or air suspension application unless the product is specifically designed for that suspension.

Match all of the following before ordering:

  1. Vehicle year, make and model
  2. 2WD or 4WD configuration
  3. Front only or front and rear lift position
  4. Factory strut, coil spring, leaf spring or air suspension design
  5. Excluded trims and special suspension packages
  6. Desired front and rear ride height change
  7. Wheel width, offset, backspacing and tire dimensions

Do not choose only by advertised lift height. Two trucks from the same brand can use different mounting points and suspension geometry. Evil Energy products should only be used on applications explicitly listed on the corresponding product page.

Choose only a suspension system that explicitly lists the exact F250 or F450 model year, drive configuration, axle type and factory suspension package. An F150 leveling kit should not be installed on an F250 or F450 because these trucks use different suspension components, mounting points and load requirements.

The total cost of a 4 inch lift depends on the vehicle and what the system includes. A complete 4 inch suspension system may require crossmembers, steering knuckles, control arms, differential relocation hardware, shocks, rear suspension components, brake line provisions, installation labor and wheel alignment. Tires and wheels can add substantial additional cost.

A basic strut spacer or leveling kit should not be compared directly with a complete 4 inch suspension system. No. A coilover lift kit must be engineered for the vehicle’s specific front suspension, mounting points, axle configuration, weight and intended lift range. It may also require compatible upper control arms, steering corrections or other suspension components.

The Evil Energy products in this collection are spacer based leveling products, not adjustable coilover, hydraulic lift or load leveling systems. After installing any suspension height component, check brake lines, sensor wiring, CV and ball joint angles, tire clearance and wheel alignment before normal driving. A lift kit changes vehicle height but does not increase the manufacturer’s payload or towing rating.
