A: Everyday checks: Before each track day or long trip, do a visual once-over, check all line fittings for seepage, make sure high-pressure lines aren't contacting heat sources like the exhaust, and confirm clamps are tight. After the first start, re-check post-pump pressure at idle and listen for abnormal pump noise.

Scheduled maintenance: Replace the post-pump 10-micron fine filter every 2 years or ~12,500 miles; inspect the pre-pump 100-micron coarse filter and replace it if the screen is damaged or flow drops. 

Every 3–5 years, check the anti-slosh foam for aging or crumbling (debris will clog filters fast) and check the fill cap seal for hardening. If the level sender reading jumps, clean the float-arm contacts or replace the sender.
