Fuel starvation, unstable pressure, pump noise, and repeated fitting changes can occur when an EFI pump and filter are selected separately. This EVIL ENERGY fuel pump and filter kit combines a 300LPH external inline pump with a selectable 10, 30, 40, or 100-micron fuel filter. It is designed for experienced DIY builders and professional installers working on compatible 12V EFI conversions, engine swaps, custom fuel cells, modified street cars, and performance fuel-system projects.

The package helps simplify pump and filter selection, but it is not a complete vehicle-specific fuel system. Confirm pump flow at operating pressure, filter position, fitting size, fuel compatibility, wiring capacity, and mounting space before ordering.

300LPH External Fuel Pump for EFI Systems

The EVIL ENERGY 300LPH fuel pump is an external fuel pump for fuel injection in compatible 12V EFI systems. It is suitable for externally mounted fuel-system layouts, including engine swaps, EFI conversions, custom fuel cells, and modified vehicles.

• 300 LPH at 43 PSI and 13.5V
• 255 LPH at 43 PSI and 12V
• 200 LPH at 75 PSI and 12V

The 300LPH rating does not represent flow at every pressure. Actual fuel delivery changes with operating pressure, voltage, wiring, line size, fittings, regulator design, and filter restriction.

Which Fuel Filter Should You Choose?

The included fuel filter for electric fuel pump applications should be selected according to its position in the fuel system, expected flow, and acceptable pressure drop.

• 100 Micron: Commonly considered for coarse filtration before an external pump.
• 10 Micron: Commonly considered for fine filtration after the pump in compatible EFI systems.
• 30 or 40 Micron: Intermediate filtration options for compatible custom fuel systems.

A smaller micron number is not automatically better. A restrictive fine filter installed before the pump may reduce inlet fuel supply and contribute to pump noise, cavitation, pressure loss, or reduced flow.

Recommended Fuel-System Layout

A commonly used layout for an external EFI fuel pump is:

Fuel tank or fuel cell → coarse pre-pump filter → 300LPH fuel pump → fine post-pump filter → regulator or fuel rail

A 100-micron filter is commonly considered for coarse pre-pump filtration, while a 10-micron filter is commonly considered for fine post-pump EFI filtration. A complete two-stage system requires two separate filters.
