Q1: Will this complete carburetor fuel system kit fit my specific vehicle?
A: This is a universal kit designed exclusively for carbureted engines. It is not a direct 'bolt-on' for a specific model. It is the ideal solution for classic cars, hot rods, and muscle car builds where you are creating a custom fuel system. It is NOT compatible with modern EFI (fuel-injected) systems.

Q2: Which fuel line should I choose: the 6AN PTFE FUEL LINE KIT or the NBR Fuel Hose Kit?
A: This depends entirely on your fuel type:

  • Choose the 6AN PTFE FUEL LINE KIT if you are using E85, ethanol, or alcohol-based racing fuels. The PTFE Fuel Line inner core is the only material that can safely handle these corrosive fuels long-term.
  • Choose the 3/8-inch NBR Fuel Hose Kit if you are only using standard gasoline or diesel. Do NOT use the NBR hose with E85 fuel.

Q3: Does this electric fuel pump for carburetor replace my factory in-tank pump?
A: No. This kit includes a gear-type electric fuel pump for a carburetor that is designed for external mounting (e.g., on the frame rail). It does NOT replace a factory in-tank pump. For best performance, this external pump should be mounted close to the tank and below the fuel level.
