AN to NPT Fittings

Many builders treat NPT fuel fittings like standard AN flares, which is a common mistake that leads to galling or leaks.
While AN flares rely on a 37-Degree mechanical seal, NPT is a tapered thread that seals via thread interference. When installing our AN to NPT fittings, you must use Teflon tape or a high-quality thread sealant on the NPT side only. The AN side of your evil energy fittings should remain dry. Our CNC-machined threads ensure that after 2–3 hand-tight turns, a final wrench tighten will achieve a leak-free, high-pressure seal for your AN to NPT conversion.
