Q: What's the difference between the 330mm and 340mm bracket, and how do I choose the right one?

A: The two versions share the same M6 thread and 315mm mounting hole center distance, but differ in overall bracket length and end bend height (19.7mm on the 330mm version vs. 29mm on the 340mm version) to match their respective cooler cores. Choose the size that matches your oil cooler's core length. If you're building a complete setup, our 330mm oil cooler kit and 340mm oil cooler kit already pair the correct cooler core with a matching bracket length, so you don't have to measure separately.

Q:I'm running a non-EVIL ENERGY oil cooler. Will this bracket still fit?

A: It can, as long as your cooler core is close to 330mm or 340mm in length and the mounting holes are roughly 315mm apart (center-to-center). Because this is a universal, slotted-hole design, we recommend measuring your existing cooler before ordering. 

Q: What tools and hardware do I need to install this bracket kit?

A: Everything needed to attach the bracket to the cooler is included: the main bracket, two L-shaped auxiliary brackets, and 8 sets of M6 screws and nuts. You'll just need a basic 10mm wrench or socket set — no drilling or special equipment required. If your install also needs hose ends or line connections at the cooler fittings, check our AN fittings and PTFE hose end fittings.

Q: Can this bracket handle the vibration from track driving or off-road use?

A: Yes. The T-6061 aluminum alloy construction and dual-point (main bracket + two L-brackets) mounting design are built to resist the vibration and heat cycling of spirited or off-road driving. As with any oil cooler mount, we recommend periodically re-checking fastener torque after the first few drives. Q: My chassis mounting holes don't exactly match the bracket's hole spacing — what should I do?

A: The bracket is manufactured to a ±2mm tolerance, and the main mounting holes are oval-shaped to allow some in-field adjustment. Small mismatches (a few millimeters) can usually be accommodated by sliding the bracket within the slotted holes. If your chassis mounting points differ significantly, the two L-shaped auxiliary brackets can also be repositioned independently to help you dial in the fit.

Q: My oil cooler kit already came with a bracket — do I still need to buy this separately?
