EVIL ENERGY 30FT PTFE Fuel Line Kit
The EVIL ENERGY PTFE fuel line kit is a universal fabrication kit for custom external fuel-feed and return-line applications. Choose 6AN, 8AN, or 10AN only after checking the intended fuel, required flow, operating pressure, allowable pressure loss, component ports, route length, heat exposure, and fitting family. This is not a vehicle-specific direct-fit fuel line.
- Confirm the fuel: Verify the hose and every connected fuel-system component for the intended fuel.
- Confirm system demand: Choose AN size from required flow and pressure, not vehicle name or horsepower alone.
- Confirm the ports: Check the tank or fuel cell, pump, filters, regulator, fuel rail, and adapters.
- Confirm the route: Measure the complete line and identify heat, movement, abrasion, and panel pass-through points.
- Confirm the exact SKU: Match the hose, hose ends, adapters, and assembly method to the selected 6AN, 8AN, or 10AN variant.

Important: The pressure values above are hose ratings. The safe operating limit of an assembled fuel line is determined by the lowest-rated hose end, adapter, seal, and connected component.
How to Choose a 6AN, 8AN, or 10AN Fuel Line Kit
The correct AN size depends on the complete fuel-system design. A larger hose is not automatically better, and AN dash size alone is not a horsepower rating.
| Selection factor | What to check |
|---|---|
| Fuel | Verify the hose, fittings, seals, pump, filters, regulator, injectors, and tank interfaces. |
| Required flow | Use the system flow requirement and allowable pressure loss rather than vehicle or engine name alone. |
| Operating pressure | Check base pressure, maximum operating conditions, and the lowest-rated component in the system. |
| Component ports | Match the tank, pump, filter, regulator, rail, and adapter ports without creating an unintended restriction. |
| Route length | Measure the complete feed or return route, including bends, service loops, movement, heat clearance, and mounting points. |
| Fitting family | Use hose ends and adapters designed for the exact hose construction, outside diameter, and AN size. |
Refer to the variant table above for the confirmed dimensions, pressure ratings, and bend-radius limits for each AN size.

PTFE Fuel Hose Construction and Ratings
The hose uses a three-layer construction: a PTFE inner tube, 304 stainless-steel braided reinforcement, and a black nylon-braided outer cover. The working temperature range is -76°F to 446°F (-60°C to 230°C).
- 6AN: 1,500 PSI maximum working pressure, 4,500 PSI burst pressure, 3.5 in (88.9 mm) minimum bend radius.
- 8AN: 1,500 PSI maximum working pressure, 4,500 PSI burst pressure, 4 in (101.6 mm) minimum bend radius.
- 10AN: 1,250 PSI maximum working pressure, 3,750 PSI burst pressure, 4.5 in (114.3 mm) minimum bend radius.
These values are hose ratings, not a target fuel-system pressure. The safe operating limit of an installed line is determined by its lowest-rated hose end, adapter, seal, and connected component.

E85 Compatibility and Fuel-System Position
The PTFE hose in this kit is documented for E85, gasoline, automotive fuels, lubricants, and compatible coolants. Complete-system compatibility still depends on the hose ends, adapters, seals, pump, filters, regulator, injectors, tank interfaces, and every other wetted component.
Typical system position: Tank or Fuel Cell → Filter → Pump → Regulator → PTFE Line → Fuel Rail or Carburetor.
- Verify every connected component for the intended fuel and pressure.
- Do not use the hose inside a fuel tank; no submersible rating is stated for this SKU family.
- This standard PTFE kit is not documented as an antistatic / conductive PTFE hose. Do not rely on a static-dissipation claim unless the exact SKU is separately specified as conductive.
- Do not treat an LS swap application as a vehicle-specific direct-fit claim.
PTFE Fuel Line Assembly and Installation Checks
- Plan the route: Measure the complete line and identify heat, movement, abrasion, and panel pass-through points.
- Make a clean cut: Secure the braid and use a cutting method approved for the exact PTFE hose.
- Keep the hose clean: Remove cutting and assembly debris before connecting the line.
- Match the components: Confirm the hose, ferrule, hose end, adapter, and tool correspond to the selected AN variant.
- Avoid hose damage: Do not twist, crush, kink, or sharply fold the PTFE hose.
- Protect the route: Keep the line away from exhaust heat, sharp edges, wiring, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components.
- Support long runs: Use suitable clamps and protect every panel pass-through.
- Test before driving: Inspect every connection and perform an approved pressure and leak test before normal operation.
Professional installation is recommended when the installer cannot verify hose-end assembly, component compatibility, system pressure, routing, or leak-testing requirements.
