Product Description

Where is this PTFE fuel hose applied?
EVIL ENERGY PTFE fuel lines are versatile and suitable for various applications, including fuel injection hoses, boost lines, carburetor fuel lines, LS engine swap fuel lines, fuel return lines, vapor return lines, and fuel supply lines. The PTFE inner tube prevents fuel permeation and resists all types of automotive fluids and chemicals.
PTFE vs Rubber Fuel Hose — What is the difference?
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fuel hose offers superior chemical resistance compared to traditional NBR rubber hose. It handles E85, ethanol-based fuels, and methanol without degradation. The nylon braided exterior provides abrasion resistance, while the stainless steel braid layer maintains structural integrity under high pressure. PTFE hose also has a wider temperature range (-76°F to 446°F) compared to rubber hose (-40°F to 257°F).
AN Size Selection Guide
Choose the correct AN size based on your fuel system flow requirements: 4AN (5mm ID) for small displacement and return lines, 6AN (8mm ID) for most street fuel injection systems, 8AN (10mm ID) for high-flow street and mild race applications, 10AN (12.97mm ID) for race fuel systems and large displacement engines, and 12AN (16.10mm) for extreme high-flow applications. Each size has a specific minimum bending radius — respect this to avoid kinking.
Why Choose EVIL ENERGY PTFE Fuel Hose Line?
-
PTFE Core for E85 Compatibility: The PTFE inner tube resists fuel permeation and is compatible with E85, ethanol, methanol, gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, and all automotive fluids — no odor migration through the hose wall.
-
Triple-Layer Construction: PTFE inner core + stainless steel braid + nylon braided exterior provides high pressure resistance (up to 1500 PSI working / 4500 PSI burst for 4-8AN) while maintaining flexibility for routing.
-
5 AN Sizes Available: From 4AN (5mm ID) to 12AN (16.10mm ID), covering fuel injection, LS swap, boost reference, and transmission cooler applications. Black and Silver color options are available for most sizes.
-
Marine-Grade Standard: Conforms to USCG Type A1-15 / SAE J1527 marine fuel hose standards, making it suitable for both automotive and marine fuel system applications.
-
Backed by EVIL ENERGY: 6 months warranty, direct-from-manufacturer quality control, and compatibility with the full line of EVIL ENERGY PTFE fittings and hose end fittings.
