About this item
Carbureted engines flood when pressure is too high and lean out when it is too low. The EVIL ENERGY Carburetor Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit ends the guesswork with an adjustable 4.5–9 PSI range. Each bundle pairs the regulator with a 20 FT fuel line already matched to its outlets — NBR rubber hose for gasoline and diesel, or PTFE braided hose for E85 and high-pressure builds. Both ship complete: gauge, bracket, fittings and clamps, nothing else to source.

Fitment
Fits low-pressure carbureted fuel systems with a mechanical or low-pressure electric pump:
-
Classic muscle cars & hot rods — 4-barrel V8 engines
-
Motorcycles, ATVs & small engines — generators, pumps, industrial engines
-
Custom carbureted builds — any setup needing pressure dialed to the carburetor spec
Not for EFI / fuel injection. Running E85 or alcohol? Choose the PTFE variant — the NBR hose is not rated for it.
Key Features
-
PICK YOUR HOSE BY FUEL — NBR variant: 3/8 in (6AN) push-lock rubber hose, 750/1450 PSI, -4–212°F — gasoline & diesel only. PTFE variant: 6AN braided hose, 1500/4500 PSI, -76–446°F — rated for E85, alcohol and high-heat.
-
6061-T6 ALUMINUM BODY: one 1/8 in NPT gauge port + two 3/8 in NPT feed / return ports; non-vacuum design holds steady pressure across the RPM range.
-
COMPLETE KIT, NO EXTRAS: regulator, gauge, bracket, port plug, outlet fittings (barb or 6AN), Allen key, sealant tape and screws; hose includes clamps or AN hose ends.
-
CARBURETOR ONLY: built for low-pressure carbureted systems (muscle cars, hot rods, motorcycles, generators); not an EFI regulator.
NBR Rubber vs PTFE: Which Variant Do You Need?
The two variants are not interchangeable — your fuel decides:
-
NBR rubber — gasoline / diesel, lowest cost, push-lock + clamps, flexible routing. Sold separately here. Not for E85.

-
PTFE braided — E85, alcohol, max pressure & heat headroom; rigid hose with 0°/45°/90°/180° AN ends. Full PTFE range here.

Barb vs AN: Why the Two Variants Use Different Outlets
Barb and AN solve different jobs, and mixing them is the #1 install failure. A barb + clamp seals soft push-lock rubber hose; an AN 37° flare seals rigid braided PTFE metal-to-metal — no clamp seals braid, and a barb in PTFE always leaks. That is why each bundle is a fixed pair: NBR ships 3/8 NPT→barb adapters, PTFE ships 3/8 NPT→6AN. The 3/8 NPT port plug blocks the second feed port if you need one outlet.

Why Choose EVIL ENERGY Carburetor Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit?
-
Matched regulator + hose in one box — no barb/AN mismatch, no second order, no leaking joint.
-
4.5–9 PSI adjustment with gauge — set to spec, stop flooding and lean-out at WOT.
-
6061-T6 aluminum — light, corrosion-resistant, adapts to most carbureted systems.
-
NBR or PTFE by fuel — 750/1450 PSI rubber for gas/diesel, 1500/4500 PSI braided for E85 & heat.
