6AN Carburetor Fuel Inlet Adapter

Connect a 6AN hose end to a compatible carburetor fuel inlet with a straight aluminum adapter. Choose the carburetor-side thread by the actual inlet specification: 5/8-20 and 7/8-20 are separate options and are not interchangeable.

Match the Carburetor Inlet Thread

Choose 5/8-20 or 7/8-20

Confirm the inlet thread diameter and pitch before ordering. Use the 5/8-20 option only with a matching 5/8-20 port, or the 7/8-20 option only with a matching 7/8-20 port. Do not select by carburetor brand or appearance alone.

Connect the 6AN Fuel Line

The hose side uses a 6AN male 37-degree flare. Pair it with a compatible 6AN female swivel hose end, align the flare faces cleanly, and avoid using the thread as the sealing surface on the AN side.

Install the Fuel Inlet Adapter Carefully

Seat the Included Washer Evenly

Place the aluminum sealing washer at the carburetor-side sealing surface and keep it flat as the fitting is tightened. Support the assembly so hose weight and vibration do not side-load the carburetor inlet.

Pressure-Test Before Operation

Depressurize the fuel system before installation. After assembly, verify hose clearance and test the connection under intended operating conditions. If leakage appears, stop operation and inspect the thread match, washer condition, flare alignment, and sealing faces before retesting.
