EVIL ENERGY CPE AN Fuel Line Kit for Custom Fluid Systems

The EVIL ENERGY CPE AN fuel line kit provides the hose, multi-angle swivel fittings and basic assembly tools needed to fabricate cleanly routed external fuel and fluid lines. Available in 6AN, 8AN and 10AN sizes with 16FT or 20FT hose options, it is designed for compatible custom fuel, oil, coolant, transmission, hydraulic and vacuum applications.

Variant note: The hose, swivel hose ends and separator clamps must all match the selected AN size. For example, a 6AN kit uses 6AN hose ends with 9/16-18 UNF threads; it does not include a mixture of 6AN, 8AN and 10AN fittings.

How to Choose Between 6AN, 8AN and 10AN Fuel Line

Do not choose an AN size from engine displacement or horsepower alone. Check the specifications of the fuel pump, filter, regulator, fuel rail, cooler or other connected component, then match the hose size, fitting family, pressure requirement and available routing space.

CPE Hose Construction, Pressure and Fluid Compatibility

Three-Layer Nylon-Braided CPE Hose

The hose combines a CPE rubber inner tube, 304 stainless steel wire reinforcement and a black braided nylon cover. The stainless layer helps limit hose expansion under pressure, while the nylon exterior protects the reinforcement from ordinary abrasion during engine-bay and chassis routing.

Working Pressure and Temperature Range

The hose is rated for a maximum working pressure of 750 PSI, a burst pressure of 2,250 PSI and an operating temperature range of -22°F to 248°F. The complete system must remain below the lowest working-pressure rating of any hose, fitting, adapter, filter, regulator or connected component.

Compatible Fluids and Fuel Restrictions

This CPE hose is intended for the compatible fluids listed in the product specifications, including selected fuel, diesel, engine oil, coolant, antifreeze, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid and vacuum applications.

Important compatibility note: Do not use this CPE hose with E10, E85 or methanol. The supplied information previously listed E15 as compatible while excluding E10; because those claims conflict, E15 compatibility should not be published unless it is confirmed by the product engineering or testing documentation.

For ethanol or methanol applications, select a PTFE fuel line kit whose product page explicitly lists the intended fuel.

How to Install the CPE AN Fuel Line Kit

1. Plan the route: Measure the complete path while avoiding exhaust heat, sharp edges, moving parts and excessively tight bends.
2. Cut the hose: Wrap the cutting point to control the braid and make a clean, square cut with a suitable hose-cutting tool.
3. Assemble the hose end: Remove loose strands, insert the hose fully into the socket and tighten the matching hose-end body according to the installation instructions.
4. Clean and test: Flush debris from the completed hose, secure the route with suitable clamps and pressure-test every connection before operating the vehicle.

The included wrench assists with holding and tightening AN components, but additional tools such as a hose cutter, soft-jaw vise and application-compatible assembly lubricant may be required.
